Love of the Game.

If you've followed this blog, you already know by now my huge infatuation with Nike and Jumpman ads.

I just think they strike the passion for the game and the ethic that comes with it so vividly. They bring the game to life, to a more personal level, and that to me is what enables it to connect with the people. That is what energy is about: it flows in a way so naturally that you become immersed in it without even realizing it.

The new "Love of the Game" ads featuring the Jumpman athletes is a very good collection, but this one captured me the most.

'Melo says "Without the game, I'll be... I don't know... Honestly, I really don't know..."

And that to me is what real love or genuine passion for anything really is. The fact that you would feel incomplete if you don't have that something. The fact that you can't even fathom what it's like not to have the thing you love at all. It defines you. It completes you.

That's love.

So tell me, what is love to you?
