moments.

it's still astonishing how much certain things can remind of us of a a time in our lives and revert us back to that particular moment. it can almost feel like we are reliving that particular occasion again, but sometimes it's annoying how you just can't grasp that very feeling just as how you did back then.

you may start feeling it slightly...but you lose your grip, and it drifts away.

you find yourself backtracking and thinking how you got to where you're at now. you look for pieces of memories that have been shattered in your brain and you try to rebuild them together, constantly seeking for the most crucial instances.

you miss it. but you can't do anything about it, just like any other point in time.
or any other piece of memory.
or any other moment that has passed.

you don't necessarily have to miss the people involved, or the setting where it took place.

just THAT feeling and that feeling alone, and it would be enough.

but it's gone just like any other point in time.
or any other piece of memory.
or other other moment that has passed.

you can only hope that something better will replace it sometime in the future. a memory that you don't have just have to relive in your thoughts. but a memory that you get to live in your present.
