In Bed (1893). Oil on cardboard by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.

the guy was dwarf (literally), and died of alcoholism and syphilis.

but he was a genius.

by his death at the age of 36, he had designed over 700 canvases, 5,000 drawings, countless lithographs, watercolor paintings and other priceless art. his existence is suggestive that excuses are merely a scapegoat from achieving excellence.

it was him against the world, and yet he managed to do what he could despite of all his challenges.
