awesome quote. but i happen to disagree (quite possibly the first quote posted in this entire site that i disagreed upon). sure, the time spent together and the relationship shared with people truly counts, but how you leave things is the precedent to how things are to become in the future. though everything changes, that last moment until you say goodbye plays a part into how things fall into fruition, or how they disband along the course of time. that one goodbye moment may be the last real thing that you share with that person. it can be that one last real glance. that one last goosebump-infested embrace. that one last poignant kiss...
"Saying goodbye doesn't mean anything. It's the time we spent together that matters, not how we left it."
- Trey Parker and Matt Stone, South Park, Tweek Vs. Craig, 1999.
what i wore to last chill day with steffy.
Q Barbecue at Port Chester.
some real fucked up shh. hilarious though.
saturday was the last day together with stef before she leaves for spain. i'd like to type everything we did and what fun we had, but i'm not afraid to admit that i can't do it. there's just some things, no matter how simple they are, that you simply can't do given the present situation. the whole fact that she's leaving on tuesday easily overshadows the great moments we had today, though it's definitely something memorable. true, it's not the last time we're seeing each other (or so i hope), but it's just the fact that i'm not going too see her in september when school starts like last year when she left, seems to take a toll on the whole atmosphere. why? it's acceptance of the fact that things are about to change. for good.
and if you're reading this, like i said, i'll always miss you...even when you're right there in front of me.
